Lagrimas Del Valle Reposado Tequila balances bright, fresh cooked agave notes alongside subtle barrel nuance. Notes of baking spices and vanilla are layered with rich agave sweetness, with hints of citrus peel and fresh herbs rounding out the palate. Silken and balanced with a clean yet complex finish.
Current Vintage: 2022 El Chiqueño.
This vintage comes from the “El Chiqueño” ranch, located immediately adjacent to Palo Verde. The elevation, and interplantings were identical, however the average brix totaled out at 32% rather than 35%. It does present as slightly more angular and with higher citrus tones than the Palo Verde – with of course the known quality and characteristics of Cascahuin.
