Such a complex and wonderful Tequila! I will be looking for this one way more often now! The aging process alone is so unique.
I prefer Extra Anejo. Give me at least 3 years or more. This product had a stronger and longer backbite, the nose of it felt and tasted like most tequilas. While the thickness and depth were better than less expensive products, it still hadn't matured to the point of good integration of the flavors into the product. They tasted like the it just wasn't ready to me.
The overall quality was good, but for this price I had a higher expectation. Still I wouldn't hesitate to serve this. I suspect that in a Margarita, it really would be a dynamite solution.
I have recently discovered the perfection of some of these aged Tequila's and have started to try different brands. After doing some research I tried Arte Nom 1146 and I'm glad I did it's delicious very smooth full bodied and well balanced delightful.
