Banhez Tepeztate Mezcal

Excellent and profound earthy taste. Tepeztate is the agave which takes the longest to harvest (up to 30 years). This means it is more deeply steeped in the earth, water and air than any other agave. It is also harvested almost exclusively from the wild, not on monoculture farms. The application of fire (distillation) can enhance or erase this taste. Banhez has done an excellent job of bringing out the natural richness of the Tepeztate.
