Del Maguey VIDA Clásico is handcrafted in the village of San Luis del Río, where mature Espadín agaves are harvested after years of growth. The agaves are roasted in traditional underground earthen pit ovens before being milled with an electric molino.

Natural fermentation takes place using ambient yeasts, after which the mezcal is twice distilled in small wood-fired copper stills.
