El Mayor Anejo 750ml

Tried this at a friend's place and fell in love. Had to order it online because I cannot find it locally. Exactly what I'm looking for in an añejo tequila. I can't quite describe the taste other than the standout agave, some smoke... But there's a zing to it and something else I can't quite place. Sipping it in the evening is akin to the sensation of sipping a good bourbon or scotch. I will be trying all of El Mayor releases and given the price, it's a total bargain. Well worth a try. Only four stars because it could be smoother, IMO, but it's excellent as is.

For an Anejo was a bit harsh met.

4 out of 5, because extra anejo would be even better.
