Process & Production

G4 Blanco is crafted from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Bottled without barrel aging, this blanco focuses on clarity and purity, showcasing the agave’s true character with a clean finish.

Tasting Notes

The nose offers aromas of fresh cooked agave, citrus zest, and light herbal notes. On the palate, bright agave sweetness is complemented by flavors of lime, white pepper, and subtle mineral undertones. The finish is crisp and clean, with lingering agave and a touch of peppery spice that invites another sip.

What Makes It Special

G4 Blanco stands out for its clean, agave-forward profile and balanced, smooth finish. Its precise distillation and quality agave make it an excellent choice for those who appreciate a pure blanco that performs exceptionally in both sipping and cocktail applications.

    G4 Blanco

Posted by Corey Cornacchio on Nov 10th 2020

Been wanting to try G4, not something I can easily get in North Carolina. Bought G4 and Siete Leguias in the same shipment. Both Blanco. The G4 had a little more of lighter feel in the mouth than the SL and it had more of a burn. I like drinking tequila neat or on ice and G4 I would prefer on the rocks vs the SL I would drink neat. G4 had a very long finish and I did enjoy it better than most of the standards I can get here in NC. My go to is still Fortaleza that I have to go to SC to get. The Siete gets closer to the Fortaleza for me than the G4.

This Tequila tastes so good. You can tell how pure it is by how smooth and flavorful it is.

GREAT EXAMPLE OF TEQUILA GROWN FROM AGAVE IN THE HIGHLANDS

Posted by Harry Sun on Aug 28th 2020

Really solid example of a well-crafted blanco. Overall experience consists of nice floral aromas, good amount of agave, butter (because of the viscosity), and light spice with a little citrus. However, this is too middle-of-the-road among the top blancos to be a go-to for me. If you like floral, fruit and spices, then Volans does it better for me. They are similar and not surprising as they both come from the same distillery (NOM 1579). But for me, Volans does a better job highlighting those components. If you like lots of cooked agave, butter/olive/brine, stronger spices (e.g., pepper and cinnamon), and more herbs, then I would go with the Cascahuin Tahona or the Fuenteseca. The latter is not really a fair comparison because both the Cascahuin and Fuenteseca are higher proof. The higher alcohol content means that there is less water added, hence the stronger flavors. To be very, very clear. This is an awesome expression, but the tequila snob in me prefers the stronger flavors of the Cascahuin and Fuenteseca.

    G4 Blanco

I had convinced myself that paying $80-100 for a nice añejo was the way to get the best tequila. I really, really like this better. Haven't tried their reposado or añejo, but the blanco is fantastic.

Probably my favorite Blanco for less than $50. Found it at my local supermarket for $40!

You either love it or hate it

I know some people love this tequila, but to me it tastes too much like clay. So it's not for me.

    Smells and tastes like dirt

Posted by Orlando J Alaniz on Oct 11th 2019

Smells like dirt. Starts out tasting smooth and slightly sweet. Goes down with moderate burn. Ends up tasting like dirt. Aftertaste of dirt lingers. Didn't like it.

Aroma: Hard to distinguish and doesn’t introduce the flavor. Taste: Soft upfront with a very colorful mouth. It doesn’t burn your throat and has a long, full finish. All the flavors are very pleasing to the palate.

High-end taste at a reasonable price.
