Smooth, almost no bite.
An ice cube in 2 - 3 fingers cuts the bite completely out of this whisky. It is one of the smoothest whisky's I've tasted in my 30 years of drinking whisky. Excellent for treating company to something special or gifting to someone that enjoys smoother malts over single malt scotch. At it's current price of $125 it's about $25 more than I'd like it to be, but if you can find it on sale it's a no brainer - and if you have the money to spend it's a wise investment of the extra $25 over anything else I know of in the price range.

A pleasant surprise
I had no idea that Japan was producing its own Whisky. So I purchased it just for curiosity and I got a pleasant surprise. It was certainly very good and I will recommend others to try it. Thanks also for the great customer service and super fast delivery.
