Process & Profile

Unlike conventional gin made from neutral grain spirits, Porfidio begins with fresh fermented juniper berries, complemented by botanicals including agave flowers, prickly pear cactus flowers, and pitaya cactus flowers macerated in agave spirits before redistillation. The spirit is then blended with fresh agave stem (quiote) juice and aged in virgin Castanea sativa (chestnut) barrels for five years, imparting elegant toasted wood character while preserving vibrant botanical freshness. The handcrafted Kutani porcelain decanter is individually decorated using Japan's renowned five-color porcelain technique, making every bottle a work of art.
