Description
Zancudo Tobala Mezcal 750ml
The name tobalá is a regional name applied to a few different species of smaller, rarer, wild maguey, none of which are easily cultivated on a farm. In this case, the name refers to Agave Potatorum. Harvested and processed after about 12 years, the resulting mezcal is rich, medicinal, and smoky on the nose, with a hint of Scotch whisky phenols, as well as cedar, palo santo, and a warming, full-bodied sweetness on the palate.
