5 Sentidos Tobala Cultivado Mezcal 750ml

The Small batch of Tobala Cultivado is one of the first batches of cultivated Tobala that Alberto Martinez Lopez has ever produced. In 2017, Alberto transplanted one year old tobala onto a single hectare of fertile land, and proceeded to meticulously care for the plants for six years. In 2023, some of the plants began sprouting quiote stalks. Alberto castrated these stalks at their base, and then allowed the Tobalas to sit in the field for another year before eventually harvesting. In late May 2024 right before the begginning of the rainy season, Alberto harvested 72 of the agaves, with an average weight of 27kg a piece, and processed them like he normally would.
