The Extra Anejo from Chamucos is spectacular. It manages to have a complex character while not losing the agave flavor. Will definitely purchase again. But might not purchase from Old Town Spirits. I placed an order on 15th December and it did not ship until 10th March. I called twice to see what the status was. And each time, I was told that the product had finally been received and would ship ASAP. This is all while the product was clearly available on the site for sale. I was charged back in December and received ZERO proactive communication about the status of my order. When I complained, I was told that the pandemic was to blame. I well understand that we are living in extremely challenging times, but as we are now a whole year into this, I think that a little customer service and communication would have gone a long way.

This is the best tequila I've tasted so far. I've tried many extra anejos. This is the perfect blend of vanilla, toffee, spice and wood. And, oh so smooth !!

I bought this tequila for my gf who has the other 4 styles from chamucos to round out the collection. It’s pretty strong stuff even compared to the diablo blanco which has a higher alcohol content. This one is much more like a whiskey I felt like due to sitting in barrels for a while. I’d buy it again and it made her smile.
