Description

Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo Tequila 2023 Edition is the latest edition of custom art, titled “Structuring a Landscape”, designed by Mexican artists Gabriel Cázares Salas and Rolando Flores Tovar of the Mexico-based Tercerunquinto Collective (translates into English roughly as “a third of a fifth”) founded in Monterrey, Mexico, in 1998.

The Tercerunquinto Collective were selected as this year’s artist collaborators due to their meticulous art process that involves heavy field research. To create this year’s box, the Collective first visited Tequila, Mexico – the birthplace of the iconic spirit and home to Jose Cuervo – to understand the most recognizable parts of the agave landscape.

Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo is the award-winning pinnacle of the Jose Cuervo family of tequilas. The finest 10-12 year-old agaves are hand-selected, and only the most flavorful inner portion of the agave’s heart is used to make this 100% Blue Agave Extra Añejo Tequila.

    I have purchased from Old Town Tequila many times. They always deliver exactly what I order in a very timely fashion. Once I asked for a specific year of Familia De Reserva and they found it and shipped it quickly. Love Old Town

    I try to never be without this one. To me, Reserva seems more like a fine cognac than a tequila. After visiting the distillery in Tequila, Mexico, I have an even better appreciation of this amazing extra añejo. It has a wonderful flavor, is very smooth, and gorgeous color. One of my top five favorites.
