La Jicarita Sierra Negra Mezcal
This 25+ year Sierra Negra agave was harvested at full maturity, letting its penca leaves grow to a weight to 4.4 lbs (2 kilos) each. Planted in a steep hillside plot, this agave is cultivated in the high altitude of the Sierra Norte de Oaxaca. The combina- tion of drastic temperature shifts, high elevation desert drainage, and concentrated sunlight produces a mezcal rugged and hearty in character.

PRODUCTION:
This limited edition of Sierra Negra Mezcal produced only 155 cases. This is the first time this mezcal is available outside of Mexico.
TASTING NOTES:
Nose: Fresh Mountain Spring, Pure Agave, Pineap- ple, Banana Bread, Pecan
Palette: Forest Floor, Star Anise, Pineapple Hearts, Tobacco Leaf, Black Pepper, Fresh Mint
Finish: Full Bodied, High Viscosity

LA JICARITA SIERRA NEGRA MEZCAL
Prickly mouth feel that turns spicy on the way down to finish with a vapor like effect once it hits your throat. The mouth feel is special and that way it transitions as it progresses down the hatch with the lingering vapor warms the body all the way down to the tummy. This one is fun to drink, one of my favs for sure!
