Produced at the Miyagikyo Distillery near Sendai
• Miyagikyo was the second Nikka distillery, and was established in 1969
• Distilled from 100% malted barley
• Nikka operates two Coffey stills (named after its inventor Aeneas Coffey).
These were imported from Scotland in 1963 and yield a distillate with more
flavor that modern column stills.
• Notes of cinnamon, clove, lemon and rich oak
• Excellent in cocktails
• 45% ABV
