A fine sipping tequila - even smoother than the Single Estate Anejo
This tequila comes from my partner's home town where I've been many times. It is very smooth and agave forward in taste unlike so many tequilas that are trying to be cognacs.

It's bourbon
This spent too much time in Bourbon barrels. Smells and tastes way too much like bourbon. I expected to taste a sweeter tequila but it was a strong alcohol fragrance on the nose.

Taste
One of the best tequilas I’ve had. Don Julio does not come close to this tequila.

Compare to Adictivo extra anejo
I bought this along with Adictivo extra anejo for comparison. I think Adictivo is better and $15 cheaper.
