This barrel pick of 6 years aged bourbon by Willett is kept at cask strength and aged in hand selected white oak. The aroma of black cherry leads to a chocolate, caramel and woody taste familiar in much older bourbons. For such a high proof (63.8% alc), the flavor remarkable shows through without burning your tongue, but if you prefer a lower proof, a splash of water and/or ice cubs will bring out the more delicate notes of summer fruits and honey.
Bottle may have barrel char residue at the bottom, but this is a sign of quality and craftsmanship.

Delicious!!! Classic Willett, high proof bourbon, doesn't get any better. Well worth the price if you like high proof bourbon.

Willett 6 Year Bourbon Store Pick
Great, great bourbon. Willett doesn't disappoint. The price point on this was at or above what would be considered secondary market pricing though and substantially ($100 plus or more) more than other similar aged bourbon store picks from Willett. Getting tough to get a deal on anything Willett in the market. Also you shouldn't put the Old Town Tequila logo on the bottle as shown in the picture as it leads someone to believe that is actually on the bottle which it is not. Thanks for bullet-proof shipping and quick fulfillment though. Spot on.
