Distilled from 100% malted barley
• Produced at Nikka’s second distillery Miyagikyo (1969), located in Sendai, in the
northern part of Japan's main island
• Indirect steam distillation with large copper pot stills
• Slightly peated with Sherry Cask influence
• Aged in New American Oak, Ex-Bourbon Oak, and Sherry Casks, with the Sherry
Casks providing a dominant flavor component
• Notes of fruit and rich malts due to specifically selected yeasts
• 45% ABV
