Description

Tears of Llorona Extra Añejo Tequila 1 Liter

Discover one of Mexico’s most celebrated tequilas with Tears of Llorona Extra Añejo Tequila (1L) — a rare, handcrafted spirit created by master distiller Germán González, the legendary maker behind Chinaco Tequila.

This ultra-premium extra añejo tequila is made from 100% blue Weber agave, slow-roasted and double-distilled before aging nearly five years in a harmonious blend of Scotch, Sherry, and Brandy casks. The result is a rich, complex tequila that rivals the world’s finest whiskies and cognacs.

Each sip reveals deep layers of caramel, roasted agave, vanilla, and oak, balanced by hints of dark chocolate, toffee, espresso, and dried fruit. The long, smooth finish carries notes of orange peel, spice, and sweetness, leaving a lasting impression of elegance and depth.

Presented in a distinctive 1-liter hand-numbered bottle, Tears of Llorona Extra Añejo is perfect for collectors, connoisseurs, or anyone seeking an extraordinary sipping tequila. Enjoy it neat or in a crystal snifter to appreciate its full aromatic complexity.

Great oak, agave caramel aroma. This is the bottle to switch your bourbon buddies to tequila. Great taste with combination of oak, agave, vanilla, & caramel. Very Smooth finish. A great sipping tequila for your bar.

Consistantly excellent! Great nose of honey and oak, smooth finish, no burn and a wonderful pleasing aftertaste! Getting really expensive though, used to be allot less expensive which made it a nice find!

Just cannot beat it! Rich buttery tasting and a smooth finish. It’s been this way for a long time so the adage “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” is very appropriate here!!

    Nothing Special

I had high hopes, but after a long search I found it and was very excited to taste what all the fuss was about. It seems like there are only different levels of bad tasting tequila. I got ZERO caramel... vanilla... nutty... or pleasant flavors from this particular bottle of tequila. Some reviewers said they "forgot they were drinking tequila". After one sip We said, "yup.. that's tequila". The really cheap tequilas have a more awful aftertaste, but the expensive ones are just slightly better. I'm on the hunt for a bottle of Fortaleza Anejo. My search for, "tough to find, Top Shelf" tequila will probably be over.

What a great tequila. The aroma, the taste. This is my favorite sipping tequila. It is very smooth, no burn. But I didn't expect it after reading a lot of reviews and watching tasting videos. I believe them when they say Tears is one of the best tequilas ever produced.
